Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara!
I’ve never thought of myself as a makeup junkie, but I am heads over heels about this mascara. The first time I wore makeup was for my high school senior portraits and my senior prom, but I was never into it. I cut my locs off in 2006 and went to a short fade, so I knew I had to enhance my features. Through the years, I have found a few staple products that are holy grails for my routine.
A few months ago in September, I went browsing in Sephora for some lip gloss. I also knew since it was my birthday month, I would receive a small gift from them. The associate showed me my choices, but insisted I try Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. A few weeks later, after I used the rest of my cheap mascara, I tried it for the first time. The primary feature of the product is the hourglass wand that allows for maximum volume on your lashes. I love the look of false lashes, but would never get them because I rub my eyes all the time and did not want to put up with the maintenance of them. This mascara gives me my desired volume of falsies without looking artificial.
After using the trial size until the wand was completely dry, I went looking for the full product. Sephora offered the full size for $23.00, which is expensive to a novice like me. However, I purchased it and I’m so glad I did. I purchased the non-waterproof formula because it is easier to remove at the end of the day. Also great feature for me is that I am able to apply one coat for my desired volume and it does not dry and clump away. I can’t say enough about this mascara. If you are looking for a great formula, then I would encourage you to try out Better Than Sex. It really is a great product!
