All About Juicing!

Last week, I decided to juice for breakfast. It is healthy, easy and I can make my juice the night before to save time. I began juicing years ago and there are pros and cons for it. Pros include the ability to juice before in advance, building a healthy lifestyle and your ability to get your daily suggested servings or fruit and vegetables. Cons include the time needed to juice and the over abundance of produce needed for the juice. It can become quite expensive depending on where you purchase your produce.
Pinterest is my all time favorite app and website to refer to for anything. It was super easy to find juicing recipes that I can tailor to my needs. Some of my all-time favorites include carrot, pineapple and ginger juice, apple mojito juice, strawberry, apple, lime juice and cantaloupe cucumber and mint juice. I also include green juice to get my veggies in the morning. I look forward to trying new recipes that include fruit and veggies that I normally would not eat like beets( yuck!)
A few years ago, I stumbled across a great find at Goodwill. I spotted a like new Breville juicer for $25.00. I had been researching different brands and styles of juicers, but I always heard that Brevilles are the best. The best thing about that juicer is that it extracts all the juice out of any produce that you use. The pulp is almost dry and helps with easy clean up. After I empty the pulp, all of the parts used into the dishwasher. Easy peasy.
If you have ever been interested in juicing, I suggest you find an affordable juicer and try it out. It has worked for me and it just may work for you.
